Tender Description
Catholic Education Melbourne currently supports the School Infrastructure Life Cycle. To do this it employs a bespoke database to serve its management information needs and integrates a number of external data sources that provide demographic, forecasting and building management information which is fundamental to planning and forecasting functions. However, it is recognised that the foundation architectural assumptions and tools used to construct the solution no longer adequately meet strategic and operational needs.
Key Business Processes relating to the School Infrastructure Life Cycle are:
* Strategic Planning
* Site Acquisition
* Construction of New Schools
* Ongoing School Operation
* Restructuring or closing of Schools
It is recognised that no packaged solution will provide the full functionality, and analytical capabilities required however, expressions of interest are sought for solutions that will interoperate with a business analytical tool to provide support for:
* Capture and Maintenance of School Building master plans (Architectural drawings, Specifications, and Reports)
* Management of Grant Applications
* Management of Building Projects
* Forecasting of Student Enrolments
* Planning for the Provisioning of Schools
