Hearings Related, Ringtail and Document Management Services

⁠⁠⁠The Royal Commission intends to appoint one or more Service Providers to provide services for the following work packages:

1. Hearing related services, including courtroom operations management, courtroom technical management and electronic courtroom systems and applications;
2. Ringtail Services; and
3. Document Management Services.

Hearing Related Services

Courtroom Operations Management:

The Service Provider(s) will provide operational management, maintenance and support for the Royal Commission's courtroom operations, in the Royal Commission's Sydney offices, or in interstate locations, including regional and remote Australia, as required by the Royal Commission.

The Service Provider(s) will provide Technical management, maintenance and support for the Royal Commission's courtroom networks and associated infrastructure, in the Royal Commission's Sydney offices, or in interstate locations, including regional and remote Australia, as required by the Royal Commission.

These services include:
* In-court technical support;
* Audio-visual support (web streaming, telephone conference and video conference support);
* Uploading of relevant hearing materials to PC/iPads etc;
* Ensuring internet connectivity and Wi-Fi; and
* Portable hearing equipment maintenance, support and upgrades.

Electronic Court Systems and Applications

The Service Provider will manage, maintain and support the necessary systems and applications for the Royal Commission's courtroom networks and associated infrastructure in the Commission's Sydney offices, or in interstate locations, including regional and remote Australia, as required by the Royal Commission.

Evidence Management Services

The Service Provider will, under direction from the Royal Commission including the legal team, provide the following evidence management Services including uploading documentation to the Royal Commission website, the service of orders and notices on parties, manage ongoing changes to witness information ,transcripts or exhibits for case studies, and respond to requests for assistance.

Ringtail

The Royal Commission has made a decision to use Ringtail Software.

The Service Provider(s) will manage and maintain Ringtail workflow and application support.

These Services include:
* Document uploading;
* Production of documents in response to summons; and
* Updating exhibit related information.

Document management services

The Service Provider(s) will provide technical management and maintenance for the Royal Commission's document support systems.

These Services include:
* Discovery consulting and project management;
* Electronic discovery - full electronic processing;
* Hard copy services with electronic stamping; and
* Hard copy services with physical barcodes.
