The Yarra Ranges Shire Council, (‘the Principal’) invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for the Lilydale Principal Pedestrian Network Castella Street, Lilydale (‘the Works’), (Melways Ref Map 38 F5 and 38 F4).
The works consist of two (2) projects located at the junctions of Main and Castella Street, Lilydale and Castella and Chapel Street, Lilydale.
Main and Castella Street Works include, but are not limited to:
* demolition works;
* installation of a raised pedestrian plateau;
* modifications to existing splitter islands;
* footpaths;
* kerb and channels;
* creation of a pedestrian bridge;
* installation of rain gardens; and
* protection of existing assets.
Chapel and Castella Street Works include, but are not limited to:
* demolition works;
* creation of kerb outstands;
* modifications to footpaths, kerb and channels;
* creation of footpaths and connections and pram ramps;
* installation of garden beds; and
* protection of existing assets.
