Tender Description
This contract requires the successful tenderer to complete the construction of a 21 metre long 'shared' pedestrian bridge, removal of over 200 square metres of existing concrete footpath and replacement and extension of the path to approximately 800 square metres. Other works include minor retaining wall construction, guardrail installation and traffic island alterations.
Alternative bridge designs will be considered, providing a conforming tender is submitted with the alternative (non-conforming) tender. All prospective tenderers should undertake a site visit as part of their tender preparation process in order to consider site access, traffic management and other site features. All tenderers should submit a covering letter of introduction and proposed project methodology and an indicative Gantt Chart with their tender submissions.
