Tender Description
The City of Greater Geelong invites tenders closing 2.00pm on Wednesday 27 May 2015 from suitably qualified landscape/civil contractors to undertake playground redevelopment works. The Barwon Heads Village Park Playground is located in Sheepwash Road, Barwon Heads.
The works required include (but not limited to):
* Tree Protection
* Demolition
* Recycling of existing timber for re-use
* Earthworks
* Preparation of garden beds
* Planting
* Gravel pathways
* Co-ordination of playground items with nominated suppliers. (Suppliers to install)
* Park furniture supply and installation
* Playground edging
* Construction of custom made elements and decking
* Water Play Channel
* Drainage
A mandatory site inspection will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday 12 May 2015. Prospective tenderers must attend this site inspection, please ensure you register your attendance when on site. Failure of a tenderer to attend will result in their tender being excluded as a non-conforming tender. Council representatives will be present to discuss details regarding the project and the tender process.
