Request for Tender for the Provision of Vinyl Flooring and Associated Services

⁠⁠⁠General Scope and Purpose of this Tender

* Western Health is a multi-site health service provider committed to providing excellence in clinical and preventative patient management through outstanding services, research, learning, innovation and staff development.
* Western Health seeks tenders from suitably qualified companies for the provision of  Vinyl Flooring and Associated Services  commencing at a date to be determined and potentially in a phased implementation process across multiple geographic locations
* Western Health requirement for the provision of  Vinyl Flooring and Associated Services  are applicable to the following sites:-
 Sunshine Hospital
 Footscray Hospital
 Williamstown Hospital
 Sunbury Day Medical Hospital
* Western Health has decided to call for Tenders for the provision of the Services
* The extent of the quotations being requested is detailed in the accompanying specification; should a party choose to submit a quotation they are requested to take into account the attached trading terms, and Tender terms and conditions when developing the response.  Part 4 of this Tender document details the product specification, service and quality requirements of the Hospital.
* It is anticipated that the successful party (parties) will supply Vinyl Flooring and Associated Services by June 2015.

Objectives of the Tender
The objectives of the Tender are:

* Western Health’s specific requirements are set out in Part 4 of this RFT.
* In issuing this Tender Western Health seeks to identify a party who is:
* able to provide the services required by Western Health in the manner set out in Part 4;
* able to demonstrate a commitment and ability to working in collaboration with Western Health over the terms of any agreed contractual period to continuously seek improvements in value, efficiency and productivity in connection with the provision of the services; and
* prepared to with Western Health to continue to identify opportunities for improvement in the quality and level of service provided to Western Health, for the mutual benefit of both Western Health and the successful party.

The successful Party is required to assist Western Health to achieve these objectives.
