The Tender is for design, supply, delivery and installation of a high voltage 66kV underground cable system. As part of the Richmond Terminal Station (RTS) rebuild, all current 66kV feeder exits need to be relocated from the existing locations on the Air Insulated open bus system to the new indoor GIS switch board.

Proposed High Level Scope includes the following:
1. Cut and extend existing 66kV fluid - filled cables (FR1, FR2, FR3 & SK) via new XLPE cables to a new Alstom GIS switch board in the 66kV switchyard enclosure, which is pre-fitted with Pfisterer size 4 cable sockets (the contractor is to provide & fit GIS plugs).

2. Replace existing North Richmond (NR), Collingwood (CW), Armadale (AR), Toorak (TK), Toorak / Balaclava (TK/BC) and Camberwell (CL) O/H feeder exits with new XLPE U/G cables from the GIS switch room to newly built cable head poles.

Please note that a Tenderers Briefing will be conducted on Tuesday 27th January 2015 at our Ardeer Offices located at 740 Ballarat Road, Ardeer at 1.30pm. The tenderers briefing will enable tenderers to be provided with specific site information and allow questions in order to familiarise themselves with these site issues.
