Tender Description
The Invitation to Register Interest will be available from the AusTender website at www.tenders.gov.au. Further information regarding AusTender is available in the Invitation to Register Interest.
At the time of issuing the Invitation to Register Interest, the works include the following:
(a) Creation of a new "Operations Precinct" through the construction of a new combined working accommodation building for the Regimental Headquarters and 4 Squadrons.
(b) Upgrades to supporting trunk infrastructure including 11kV power supply works, street lighting, ICT (supervisory and base cabling to fibre optic), roadways, footpaths and hardstands, sewers. stormwater systems, potable water, irrigation, hydrants and sprinklers, gas network, security works, cabling (fibre optic) and mechanical plant.
(c) Refurbishment of the existing Fibre Transmission facility.
(d) Construction of a new Combined Mess building.
(e) Creation of a new "Operational Support Squadron Precinct" through the adaptive re-use of existing facilities and construction of a new building.
(f) Upgrade of the Entry Precinct.
(g) Adaptive re-use of an existing building to create a new Q store.
(h) Adaptive re-use of existing buildings for Signals Squadron relocation and upgrade.
(i) Refurbishment and adaptive re-use of existing buildings for upgrade to the Soldier Training and Recovery Centre existing gymnasium and pool.
(j) Demolition of 33 buildings.
