Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Wellington Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced civil contractors to submit tenders for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Gibsons Road and Cobains Road, Sale, including associated road and street lighting infrastructure.

Scope

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Earthworks
  • Pavement construction
  • Kerb and channel construction
  • Footpath construction
  • Drainage and stormwater infrastructure
  • Service relocations and alterations
  • Asphalt works
  • Electrical works
  • Supply and installation of street lighting

Contract Terms and Conditions

  • Practical completion date: 16 April 2027

Instructions to Tenderers

  • All tenderers must register with the Council and obtain the tender documents, which are available from the eProcure website
  • All tender submissions must be lodged electronically through the eProcure portal no later than 2 pm Wednesday 07 October 2026
  • The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted
  • Late or facsimile tenders will not be accepted
  • All questions and requests for clarification regarding the tender must be submitted through the eProcure portal; Council will not respond to questions received through any other communication channel
