Overview
The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), through VIDA Health, is seeking to appoint a Relevant Building Surveyor (RBS) to provide statutory building surveying services for the Dandenong Hospital Redevelopment Project.
About
VIDA Health manages or assists in the development of capital projects to support the delivery of health services. As of 2 April 2024, VIDA Health is part of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA).
In April 2026, the Victorian Government announced the $305 million redevelopment of Dandenong Hospital. The project will deliver nine new operating theatres, a new Intensive Care Unit with 16 beds and an upgraded day surgery admissions space. Dandenong Hospital is one of the busiest hospitals in the state, and the redevelopment will expand bed capacity and support better and faster surgical care.
This tender relates to the appointment of the required number of building surveyors, reflecting the nature of the works and the brownfield redevelopment context.
