Tender Description
Overview
The Kapiti College Board of Trustees is seeking the services of a Roofing Contractor to undertake the re-roofing of Blocks A, C and F at Kapiti College, as shown on drawings supplied by Ruruku.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Installation of scaffold and edge protection as outlined in a Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP)
- Removal of old roof cladding, flashings, fixings and accessories in a planned, staged manner to tie in with the laying of new material
- Installation of new cladding, fixings, flashings and accessories as indicated in the drawings
- Use of trampolines and covers to ensure weathertightness throughout the re-roofing process
Contractor Requirements
Staged handover of the project is not required, however working on one block at a time is preferable. Contractors are required to provide a construction programme with their tender submissions.
Contract Terms and Conditions
- The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract (Construction contracts for professional services and works)
- Start date: October 2026
