⁠⁠⁠Overview

Porirua City Council is seeking an experienced and capable main contractor to deliver the coordinated refurbishment and services upgrade of Cannons Creek pool, including an upgrade of the heating and ventilation systems and a reception re-jig.

Scope

  • Refurbishment and services upgrade of Cannons Creek pool, including the heating and ventilation upgrade and reception re-jig

Objectives

  • Maintaining the ongoing operation of the pool while construction is underway, with minimal disruption to customers, staff and surrounding facilities

Contractor Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex live-site projects
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple specialist subcontractors
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes with strong planning, communication and health and safety practices

  • Maximise the reuse of existing infrastructure where practical
  • Manage commissioning within the planned pool closure period
