Tender Description
Tablelands Regional Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for T00354 Asphalt Overlay Program 26-27, for Ravenshoe Depot and Tolga Depot as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.
Project Overview
Reconstruct and resurface the deteriorated asphalt pavement within the Council depots to restore asset functionality, extend service life, and provide a safe and durable surface for heavy vehicle operations.
Upgrade site access with new crossovers designed to withstand frequent heavy traffic movements and reduce wear at entry/exit points (Tolga Depot site - FNQROC design to be utilised for crossovers).
Improve stormwater drainage to effectively manage surface runoff, mitigate ponding/flooding risks, and protect pavement integrity.
Ensure depot works comply with workplace health and safety requirements and environmental management obligations. Line marking as per the Vehicle Movement Plan.
Minimise disruption to business as usual through efficient staging of works, traffic management planning, and communication with stakeholders.
Night/ weekend works
The contractor is to undertake the works with minimal disruption to the operations, night/ weekend works required to deliver works outside of normal depot operational hours.
