M/FW Designers

⁠⁠⁠Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW) offers the opportunity for designers, both established and emerging, to showcase their collections and profile their brand within Australia’s longest running consumer fashion event.

The City of Melbourne is proud to own, fund and deliver M/FW with our core objective to support Melbourne based designers who retail within the city’s municipality. M/FW also has a strong focus on including a selection of independent and emerging designers who retail online or outside the City of Melbourne.

Designer collections are presented within several premium runway environments, bespoke activations and Fashion Capsule exhibitions, showcased in some of Melbourne’s most iconic and unique locations. Footwear and accessory designers are also welcome to apply to be considered within the program.

Requirements

• Designer collections are available for purchase in-store or online for the event duration, 19 to 25 October 2026
• The collections are of high quality, trans-seasonal and with a strong design aesthetic
• A minimum of 12 to 15 looks are required for premium runway selection with a diverse range of sample sizes* required
• A minimum of 4 to 10 looks are required for street runway selection, with a diverse range of sample sizes* required
• Have samples available for potential media and pictorial opportunities, including dressing ambassadors and key talent
• Engaged Designers must comply with the M/FW photography and videography guidelines. Guidelines will be provided by M/FW.
• Engaged Designers must comply with the M/FW Exotic Animals Policy. Guideline details are included within the EOI terms and conditions.
• All Designers and brands must align and comply with the M/FW Inclusion and Equity Policy.
• *Designers who offer a broad and inclusive range of sizing will be given preference, as M/FW celebrates diversity and accessibility for all.
