Tree Trimming, Maintenance & Removal (Arboriculture Services) Panel of Suppliers

⁠⁠⁠Yarriambiack Shire Council is seeking to appoint a panel of suppliers who are who are appropriately qualified and experienced to undertake all works associated with maintenance tasks on trees within the Yarriambiack Shire Council area. Tree maintenance works to be undertaken in Streets, Roads, Parks and Rural areas shall be categorised as follows:

• Maintenance Pruning
• Specialised Maintenance Pruning
• Tree Removal
• Tree Stump Removal.

Tenderers are advised that works under this Contract are not guaranteed and will be on an “as required” basis.

The Contract will be awarded for an initial five (5) year period with an option to offer a further two, one-year terms of contract (up to a maximum of seven (7) years).

All tree pruning works must comply with recognised Arboriculture and Horticultural techniques as stated in Australian Standard No.4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees.

All works should be undertaken by or under the supervision of a suitably qualified Arborist as defined below:

Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent Level 5 accreditation

Recognised qualifications in either Arboriculture and or Horticulture
