Overview
The City of Ballarat is seeking a contractor to undertake urban forest tree planting at selected locations across the municipality.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Planting trees at locations selected and provided by the City of Ballarat
- Sourcing and purchasing all trees required as part of the contract
- Determining the appropriate planting configuration using guidelines provided by the City of Ballarat
- Watering of planted trees
- Weeding around planted trees
- Pruning of planted trees
- Insect and pathogen control
- Stake and tie replacement as required
- Reporting any loss or death of trees to the contract supervisor
