Supply and Delivery of Diesel Generator

⁠⁠⁠BACKGROUND

Melbourne Water currently requires 2 x 1.5 MVA backup diesel generators for two upcoming capital projects at the Plenty Pumping station and Western Treatment Plant (WTP) 5W nutrient removal plant.

• Plenty Pump Station 235 Plenty River Dr, Greensborough Victoria 3088
• WTP 5W Nutrient Removal Plant (NRP) Western Treatment Plant, via 160 south Road, Werribee 3030

Melbourne Water intends to appoint a single supplier under this RFT. The appointed supplier will:

• Be responsible for the Supply, delivery and offloading of 2 x Diesel Generator to the nominated site.
• Collaborate with Melbourne Water’s nominated service provider for delivery, commissioning, warranty and technical support.

The RFT will be hosted on Melbourne Water’s eProcurement system, which is called Zycus. Respondents to the RFT will be required to SELF-REGISTER on the Zycus portal in order to access the RFT documentation. It is strongly recommended that you use this advance notice period to self-register your Zycus profile to avoid delays in viewing the RFT material upon launch. • As a potential supplier of Melbourne Water we would like to invite you to register your details in the Zycus Supplier Network (ZSN).
•  The Zycus Supplier Network is a cloud-based portal for suppliers and other payment recipients to engage with Melbourne Water and to allow you to securely manage your details.
•  Note that if you already have an account with Zycus for other clients, a new account will still need to be activated for Melbourne Water.
•  Given that Zycus will be the primary means of communications with suppliers during the RFT, please ensure that the user that you register in Zycus is a person who will be actively involved in your proposal.
