Statutory Planning Services

Strathbogie Shire Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified planning consultants to provide statutory planning assistance to support the delivery of its development assessment functions under the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

Strathbogie Shire is a small rural municipality with approximately 11,000 residents and five main townships. Council's Planning Department processes an average of 180–250 planning permit applications per annum, in addition to subdivision certifications, enforcement matters, planning enquiries and VCAT-related work. Application volumes fluctuate depending on seasonal development trends.

This Request for Quotes (RFQ) relates to the provision of supplementary statutory planning services to assist Council in managing workload peaks, staff leave coverage and complex applications.

The provider of the successful quote will be required to undertake delegated planning assessments, prepare delegate reports and recommendations, liaise with applicants and referral authorities (when required) and provide professional planning advice consistent with the Strathbogie Planning Scheme and relevant State policy.

Strathbogie Shire Council advises that failure to supply a schedule of rates price in Schedule 1 will result in your tender not being evaluated.

All Tender Schedules must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated.

You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the 'Response' tab.

Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue.
