The Senior Procurement Officer will report to, and work with Assistant Director, Strategy, Performance and Procurement. The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for a range of procurement delivery and outcomes for the Digital Transformation Program and other areas as required. The procurement team delivers high quality procurement advice and end-to-end support to the AER teams and ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement framework, including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act), Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), Accountable Authority Instructions (AAIs) and associated rules, policy, and guidance.
The Senior Procurement Officer will work closely with key business stakeholders. It is also part of the role to work closely with ACCC Procurement, Finance and Legal in completing procurement processes. This role will need to assist in procurement planning, preparing and delivering procurement documentation, reconciliating contract invoices, liaising with contract vendors, and providing procurement advice and support.
The role requires the ability to work collaboratively, to think laterally and to develop solutions to procurement issues together with excellent liaison, negotiation, and network building skills.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and collaborative professional who can deliver accurate and high-quality work within tight timeframes.
