MAV Internal Audit Services

The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) (Organisation) The MAV is a membership association and the legislated peak body for local government in Victoria. It is responsible for providing diverse business services to our council members including specialist policy and advocacy, governance and legislative advice, sector development, insurance and procurement services.

The Organisation is seeking responses to this Invitation for the provision of Internal Audit Services.

The provider will be required to;

a) independently review and assess the effectiveness of MAV's systems and controls for financial management, performance, and sustainability, including risk management;

b) assess the management of risks and internal costs in line with the relevant professional standards of the Australian Institute of Internal Auditors, and;

c) Ad hoc audit services relating to specific programs or functions as detailed from time to time.
