Request for Tender: Australian red meat industry emissions intensity projections for cattle, sheep and goat species from 2026 to 2030
Tender ID: 605714
Tender Details
Tender Description
Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) is seeking preliminary applications from organisations (or consortiums) to conduct Australian red meat industry emissions intensity projections for cattle, sheep and goat species from 2026 to 2030.
Australia’s red meat sector faces growing scrutiny of its climate performance and needs consistent, science‑based methods to estimate and project emissions intensity across cattle, sheep and goats. Current variability in emissions intensity data limits the industry’s ability to track progress, identify mitigation opportunities, and plan effectively. As part of MLA’s 2030 Strategic Plan, new emissions intensity baselines need to be developed in FY26, along with measures of MLA’s impact on reducing emissions intensity.

Applications must be lodged electronically to tenders@mla.com.au
Applications close 11.59pm AEDT on Friday 6 March 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted.
