Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Cherry Industry Statistics and Forecasting 2026-2028 (CY26006).
About
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Objectives
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Build a stronger supply data foundation for the cherry industry through the development of greater production forecasting capability informed through a plantings data collection initiative
- Support growers to make more informed harvest, planning and management decisions within and across seasons
- Drive more informed strategic industry planning, including understanding seasonal and long-term performance trends
