Tip Access Road Upgrade

Mansfield Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and qualified contractor to undertake site preparation and sealing works including site clearing, construct open shallow swale drains, installing new crossover pipes, culverts, pits, road widening works, and applying two coat emulsion seal and / or asphalting with line marking as per standards.

The Tip Access Road in Mansfield provides essential access for community members, Council staff, and contractors visiting the Mansfield Resource Recovery Centre (MRRC). Currently, the road suffers from significant wear and degradation, including potholes, surface failures, and uneven grading.

Additionally, there is no sealed access to the storage shed located at the top of the road, further complicating day-to-day operations, and limiting site efficiency.

To address these challenges, Council is undertaking a comprehensive upgrade of the Tip Access Road. The objective is to deliver a safe, durable, and well-structured roadway that improves functionalities for all users, ensures access to key facilities, and aligns with Council's broader infrastructure renewal goals.
