Lighting Upgrade - Minyip Recreation Reserve Main Oval

Yarriambiack Shire Council are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the design, supply and installation of new LED sports lighting on the main oval at the Minyip Recreation Reserve, located in Foundry Street, Minyip, 3392.

The project will upgrade lighting on the main oval to (a minimum of) 100 Lux Lighting, in line with Australian Standards for Sports Lighting (AS 2560.2:2021 – Part 2 Specific Applications) for Australian Rules Football. Noting: Council is interested in exploring the option to upgrade the lighting to 200 Lux, subject to cost considerations.

The scope of works includes all necessary design, labour, materials and associated activities required to complete the project, specifically including:

• Installation of four (4) new lighting poles with LED fittings
• Dimmer controls for each light tower and
• Any required on-site electrical upgrades to connect and support the new lighting system.

The total budget for this project is $300,000 - $325,000.
