Electric Vehicle Charging as a Service (CaaS) for East Gippsland Shire Council Fleet

East Gippsland Shire Council are seeking a provider to supply, install, manage and maintain via Charging as a Service up to five electric vehicle charging units which include a mix of AC and DC options.

East Gippsland Shire Council is looking to incorporate battery electric vehicles (BEV) into the fleet and require charging infrastructure to be installed into a staff carpark in Bairnsdale.

We are seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to provide electric vehicle charging infrastructure with associated software and hardware via a Charging as a Service (CaaS) agreement, for an East Gippsland Shire Council administration office (rear carpark) at 34 Pyke Street, Bairnsdale.

This site is well-suited for early battery electric vehicle (BEV) adoption, with passenger pool vehicles, amenable staff, and the carpark is for staff vehicles only (not public). The site requires the addition of electric vehicle charging infrastructure with load management.

The purpose of this specification is to seek a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a whole Charging as a Service (CaaS) package, which includes the supply, installation, operation, commissioning and maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in close consultation with Council.
