Raised Pedestrian Crossing Works – High Street and Murchison Street, Broadford

Mitchell Shire Council is seeking to procure construction services to undertake the construction of Raised Pedestrian Priority Crossings at High Street (service lane) and Murchison Street, Broadford 3658.

The Raised Pedestrian Crossing Works – High Street and Murchison Street, Broadford project involves the installation of two (2) raised priority crossings to enhance road user safety and pedestrian accessibility. The raised crossing works will include:

• Raised platforms to slow vehicles and prioritise pedestrian and cyclists movements
• Signage and line markings to ensure visibility and compliance
• Roadworks, Kerb and Channel, and Footpath Construction to suit the new raised crossings
• Rectify the existing low point on Murchison Street to provide a better driving experience– (Design/Quotation/Tender Cost Option)
