Tender Description
The University of Sydney seeks to appoint a provider for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Food, Eating and Wellbeing Project to support the following strategic objectives:
- Transform the national approach to eating disorders through inclusive, community-led, and evidence-informed research and its translation into practice.
- Ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are leading and shaping research and service responses, reflecting cultural knowledge, lived experience, and community priorities.
- Address critical gaps in understanding and responding to food and eating-related health issues within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including food insecurity, disordered eating, and eating disorders.
- Develop culturally safe tools, resources, and clinical guidance that reflect the languages, experiences, and realities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Uphold principles of Indigenous data sovereignty, cultural safety, and ethical research practice throughout the project.
PROJECT TIMING
Tender will be released in December 2025 and be on the market for 7 weeks.
The supplier registration shall be closed one week after the tender is released.
