Principal Design Consultant on the Nowra Riverfront Precinct Development
Project goals
The Nowra Riverfront Precinct seeks to transform the important Riverfront area into a vibrant community precinct with improved transport links, high quality leisure recreation and event spaces, social and affordable housing options, visitor accommodation and tourism focused commercial development. Shoalhaven City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Principal Design Consultants to develop detail designs to tender readiness stage from current master plans for the development of the Nowra Riverfront Precinct.
The overall project objective is to deliver detailed designs and a business case for the development and revitalisation of the Nowra Riverfront Precinct.
Scope
The Project Scope and Design Brief provides a detailed description of the services required under this contract.
The following key deliverables will be required to deliver the Issue for Construction (IFC) package of the Nowra Riverfront Precinct Project:
- 20% Design Package
- 50% Design Package
- 80% Detailed Design Package
- 100% Issue for Construction Package.

3. Non-Mandatory Meeting
A non-mandatory meeting is proposed for Thursday, 15th January 2026 at 11:00 am.
The proposed meeting will be held online, and tenderers are to register their interest with the Contact Person nominated in the Conditions of Tendering by close of business Tuesday, 13th January 2026 to receive a Microsoft Teams invitation.
