Tender Description
Council is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to construct a shared use path. The proposed scope of works includes:
Stage 1 (Angle Vale Road) works include:
• Installation of new and renewal of kerb and gutter systems (including new and upgrade side entry pits) to improve roadside drainage.
• New road pavement for parking lanes (indented on-street, car parking).
• Upgrade of road lighting for enhanced visibility.
• New shared path from Coventry Road to the pedestrian actuated crossing and from the crossing to 140m west of Evanston Gardens Primary School vehicular entrance (end of existing kerbed section).
• Footpath upgrades between Evanston Gardens Primary School and Dost Road.
• New kerb ramps at Dost Road
• Landscaping new trees. Verge treatment to be granulitic sand.
Stage 2 (Clark Road shared used path)
• Asphalt shared used path (2.5m width)
• Pram/Kerb ramp installation
• Landscaping new trees. Verge treatment to be granulitic sand.
• Tree removal will be coordinated by Council
• Footpath onsite alignment subject to Supervisor guidance.
