132 kV and 11 kV Switchrooms - Copper SA - Smelter & Refinery Expansion (SRE)

BHP Olympic Dam Corporation Pty Ltd is inviting registrations of interest for the engineering, design, component procurement, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation and commissioning support of transportable 132 kV and 11 kV Switchrooms, with roof structure, for the Copper SA Smelter & Refinery Expansion (SRE) project.

Scope

At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the scope includes:

• 1 off 132 kV OD South Substation 4, including 132 kV GIS 650 kV BIL, 2000 A, 40kA for 1 s
• 1 off 11 kV OD South Substation 7, including 11 kV Internally Arc Rated Switchgear, single bus 3150 A, 40 kA for 3 s
• HVAC system for the transportable switchrooms
• Fire detection and protection requirements, including signage and fire extinguishers
• LV Essential and non-essential distribution boards for Lighting & Power distribution boards
• PLC, UPS and Battery charger system
• 15 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) complete with Circuit Breakers, Internal Bypass, Monitoring, Communication, Battery Enclosure and Batteries, Electrical UPS (Input 400 V / Output 400/230 V), 30 minute backup, Desk and PPE cabinet
• All wiring, cabling, termination, cable ladder and conduit integral to the switchrooms, per ODE0000-S-0017 Electrical Installation Standard, General Lighting and Power, including distribution
• Elevation of switchroom buildings to allow cable entry and exit by means of below floor cable ladder, including cable ladder supports, support columns and bracing for support of the switchroom
• Instrumentation for plant inside battery limits, process control system design, Control Philosophy, including Functional Descriptions (FDE), Cause and Effect Tables (CET) and Analogue Configuration Tables (ACT), Safety Requirement Specification System (SRS) design for review and input to design Safety Instrumented System (SIS) by others, and upstream supply point protection relay and communication system via GOOSE IEC 61850
• Provision of floor space within a separate VSD room (HV Variable Speed Drives supply excluded)
• Civil and Structural, Mechanical, Fire protection and detection, Electrical, Piping and Instrumentation & Control requirements as may be required under the tendered scope
• All Package Management, Tagging & Labelling, Documentation, As-Builts, Licenses, Testing, Quality control activities, On-Site Supervision, Spares & Special Tools, and Preservation of Equipment as may be required under the tendered scope of work
