Queensland Health is inviting Private Health Facilities to join the Surgery Connect program through a standing offer arrangement. Surgery Connect facilitates outsourcing public patients needing elective surgery and endoscopy services to the private sector.
What we need:
• Elective surgery and procedures across multiple specialties (orthopaedic, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynaecology, ENT, urology, plastic surgery, gastroenterology, and more).
• Delivery of patient care through admission, discharge and up to 90 days follow-up.
Key details:
• Arrangement term: 3 years + 2 optional 2-year extensions.
• Start date: 1 July 2026.
• Payment: Bundled case payments for predictable pricing based on diagnosis-related groups (DRG).
