Tender Description
Inner West Council (Council) is proposing to undertake works to as part of the Gumbramorra Swamp restoration project and all associated landscaping at Mackey Park in Marrickville, including:
- expand an existing wetland
- construct a new feature wetland including minor stormwater diversion works
- create a new nature play space including water play swale
- new salt marsh planting along foreshore
- new viewing platforms
- new paths
- associated planting and landscaping works
- minor modifications to an existing stormwater harvesting scheme
The upgrades are located at the well used Mackey Park located on the Cooks River in southern Marrickville and home to one of the largest football clubs in the Inner West.
NOTE: There will be a non-mandatory briefing at 10.00am Thursday 20 November 2025, at the IWC Sustainability Hub, 7 Prospect Road, Summer Hill.
