Provision of Internal Audit Services

Council is seeking the services of an audit firm to manage an audit program of internal audits, with at least five audits being conducted annually.

The contracted Internal Auditor will develop an Internal Audit Plan (Plan) to be presented to the Committee at the first meeting after the contract commencement (February 2026).

The objective of the Plan is to provide the Committee members, the CEO, and ultimately the Council, assurances that the internal controls of Council are effective; or determine where they can be made effective when shortfalls are discovered.
