Kennett River Tourism Infrastructure Improvements - Bulk Civil Works

This project will support the growing tourism and visitor economy by delivering public infrastructure and accessibility improvements through several initiatives.

The tourism infrastructure improvements will include;

• A new public toilet and a new or upgraded wastewater treatment plant in the adjoining Kennett River Family Caravan Park; and
• Carpark and road improvements works.

This RFT will cover the bulk civil works within the caravan park, including the entrance, exit and internal park roads.

1. Part A – Tender Submission:

Part A includes a release of current 30% design and Principal Project Requirements (PPR), allowing tenderers to familiarise themselves with the documents and be ready for Part B Pricing Submission. With the Part A submissions, Tenderers shall ensure all returnable schedules except Pricing Schedule 1 are submitted.

2. Part B – Tender Submission Schedule 1 – Re-submission only (Pricing)

Following the submission of Part A, GORCAPA intends to shortlist the tenderers. These shortlisted tenderers will then be invited to participate in Part B of the tender process.

Part B will include the release of the Issue for Construction (IFC) drawing set (95%) and other documentation that will allow the selected tenderers to develop and submit pricing schedule 1.

The release of Part B is anticipated to occur shortly after the submission of Part A, providing approx. 10 business days for tenderers to update their pricing based on the IFT documentation

Please note: the closing dates/times relate to Part A submission only, upon closing of Part A, we will re-release Part B of the RFT with the final closing dates/times.

Site Visit and Tender Briefing

A briefing session will be held at Kennett River Caravan Park, Great Ocean Road, Kennett River, VIC, Australia, 3234 on 18 November 2025 10:30 am.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
