Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers for Electrical, Plumbing and Other Trade Services

Douglas Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for appointment as a pre-qualified supplier of plumbing, electrical and other trade services as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.

A non-mandatory tender brief will be held on Thursday 13 November 2025, at the Port Douglas Community Hall starting at 2pm. A presentation will be provided by Council’s Procurement team with other Council staff attending to answer any questions. The presentation will also include an overview of LinkSafe – a new software that Council is using to manage Contractor Inductions, insurance documentation, Contractor site sign-in, etc. Contractors considering tendering for the RoPS are encouraged to attend.
