Scope

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for T20-26

Service Hire for Marquee Set Up Lakemba Nights during Ramadan 2026.

Council will only consider tender submissions that can demonstrate experience in infrastructure/marquee set up and service with major/signature events for minimum two consecutive weeks. Council will consider a 3-year service contract on the basis of 1+1+1.

Council also seeks the provision of an experienced vendor supervisor/site manager who is able to ensure stallholders comply with power, safety and fire regulations, as well as Council’s Lakemba Nights during Ramadan 2026 Stallholder Terms and Conditions, to ensure smooth operations.

The successful contractor will only be allowed to use subcontractors to deliver the service component of this contract if necessary and will commit to providing all the labour for this service. The service hire for marquee set up dates for Year 1/2026 is for 17 days:

During the event: Thursdays to Sundays February 19 to Sunday March 15, 2026 inclusive. This is the 16 nights of the actual event.

Additional: There may be one additional day TBC, to check and pack marquee parts (at Council’s depot, where marquees and parts are stored) into marquee bags ready for set up. This day will be in early February TBC.

Hire period dates for 2027 and 2028 are TBC, but will coincide with the timing of the month of Ramadan.

Project Manager will be on site at Haldon Street Lakemba, 4th November 2025, between 8am and 9am.
