Australian Biosecurity Research Database (ABRD)
Overview
This procurement seeks a hybrid solution to support the development and/or hosting of the Australian Biosecurity Research Database (ABRD) platform. The solution must support user-centric functionality and enable visibility of biosecurity research to reduce duplication, identify gaps, and inform strategic investment decisions.
The solution should draw on relevant outputs from previous work, including:
- The ABRD prototype, an excel spreadsheet which collated biosecurity project metadata from public and internal sources.
- Controlled vocabularies including the Biosecurity Thesaurus, Priority Pests, and Commodities, to improve search and classification.
