Mosman Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to prepare: 1. An estimated dwelling yield associated with the NSW Government's Low and MidRise Housing Policy in Mosman 2. A high-level report on the impacts of the Low and Mid-rise Housing Policy on Mosman's infrastructure 3. Recommendations for the preferred increased contributions implementation strategy and updated Contributions Plan in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. This engagement responds to increased residential development activity in Mosman under the NSW Government's Low and Mid-Rise Housing Policy and State Significant Development (SSD) pathway. These changes are placing pressure on local infrastructure, prompting Council to review and strengthen its contributions and planning instruments and Council wishes to finalise a policy position on this matter, considering the various options. The consultant will assist Council in developing a strategic and statutory framework to ensure infrastructure contributions are aligned with current and forecast development activity.
