In-Home Injury Prevention

ACC is seeking qualified suppliers to deliver an in-home injury prevention initiative across five of the following seven regions: Northland, Gisborne, Wanganui – National Park, West Coast, Kapiti, Wairarapa, and Thames – Coromandel District.

This initiative will support 3,000 households across the five regions, with interventions tailored to each households need. As a supplier, you will be responsible for: Conducting in-home hazard assessments for eligible households; supplying and installing specified safety equipment only (grab rails, grip mats, and grip-treads for outside stairs) in compliance with all relevant Health and Safety standards, delivering high standards of workmanship and reporting for your chosen region/s.

This initiative prioritizes older adults (65+ and 55+ for populations where evidence of falls risk is high before reaching age 65) within eligible households.
