Tender Description
Overview
Hauora Māori Services, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, invites proposals from a suitably qualified Hauora Māori provider, or lead provider with agreed partners, to deliver a face-to-face Stop Smoking Service across the wider Wellington region, including Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa, from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2028.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Delivery of evidence-based behavioural support for stop smoking
- Support to access stop smoking medicines and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT)
- Prioritisation of Māori, Pacific peoples, pregnant women and other priority populations
- Collaboration with health and community providers to strengthen referral pathways
- Improving access and engagement for people seeking to stop smoking
- Supporting people and whānau to stop smoking
Contract Terms and Conditions
- Contract period: 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2028
Contractor Requirements
- Must be a suitably qualified Hauora Māori provider, or a lead provider with agreed partners
- Demonstrated experience and capability in delivering high-quality, culturally responsive and whānau-centred stop smoking services
- Strong local relationships within the Wellington region
- Ability to deliver an accessible service across the wider Wellington region
