SERVICE REQUIRED:

Northern Beaches Council is inviting innovative proposals from reliable, professional, and suitably qualified organisations or individuals to lease and fit out the iconic Manly Beach Restaurant, located on Sydney's stunning Northern Beaches.

Council is seeking an experienced operator with the vision, expertise, and financial capacity to transform this landmark site into a high-quality restaurant with broad public appeal. The successful Tenderer will be expected to operate the venue to an exceptional standard, ensuring it serves the general public and enhances the vibrancy of Manly Beach and the Manly CBD.

The restaurant must be run in a way that preserves the public purpose and environmental qualities of Manly Beach, with no adverse impact on its natural or community value.

The lease term will be for 10 years with a further 5-year option at the lessee's discretion.

ONLINE BRIEFING:

An online briefing will be held via Teams on Tuesday 28 October 2025 at 4pm AEST. All parties are to register with Council prior to the briefing. SITE BRIEFING AND INSPECTION:

LODGEMENT:

Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
