Project goals
The RFT seeks Respondents with proven technical and operational capabilities to:
- Onboard public sector parking environments to the Park’n’Pay platform
- Provide real-time session and tariff data for a seamless user experience
- Deliver compliant and interoperable API integrations
- Support diverse payment models and gateways, including Braintree or equivalen
- Maintain high standards of security, privacy, and service performance.
Scope
The core objectives of the Supplier's Activities are as follows:
- Provide real-time active session and tariff data via API to Park’nPay.
- Enable payment and top up payments by users via mobile device.
- Obtain and provide data to facilitate meter search based on map viewport within the Platform.
- Integrate parking infrastructure and payment systems with the Park’nPay platform using the standardised API scheme provided by DCS.
- Enable both “Pay Upfront” and “Pay as you park” models.
- Provide technical support during integration with payment gateway, and provide full documentation, such as:
- API specifications (e.g., endpoints, authentication methods).
- Supported payment methods (e.g., credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
- Transaction flow, error handling, and response codes.
- Required SDKs for mobile (iOS, Android).
- Where payment details or personal information are collected, used, transferred and/or stored, Supplier must maintain Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI-DSS”) compliance and compliance with NSW and Federal privacy legislation as outlined in the ICT Agreement (contract).
- Provide technical subject matter experts to collaborate with DCS through testing, deployment, and post-deployment support stages.
Additional details/instructions
Full RFT documentation will only be released to the Respondent upon return of signed ‘Annexure B – Process and Confidentiality Deed Poll’.
The signed Deed Poll must be sent to stated primary contact email address. parknpay@customerservice.nsw.gov.au.
Once DCS receives the signed Deed Poll, the supplier will added to a restricted tender which contains the full RFT documentation including Statement of Requirements and draft contract.
