Grounds Maintenance Services

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) serves and protects communities across Melbourne and Victoria’s major regional centres. FRV operates 85 fire stations statewide — 60 in Greater Metropolitan Melbourne and 25 in regional Victoria. Several regional stations are co-located with Country Fire Authority (CFA) volunteer brigades, reflecting FRV’s commitment to an integrated and collaborative emergency services model.

FRV manages an extensive network of metropolitan and regional fire stations and associated outdoor environments that require reliable, year-round grounds maintenance to ensure safety, presentation, and operational readiness.

Through this Request for Tender (RFT), FRV invites suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of comprehensive Grounds Maintenance Services across Victoria. The successful supplier will partner with FRV to maintain safe, compliant, and well-presented facilities that support the organisation’s critical operational objectives.

This RFT aims to establish a single, state-wide contract covering gardening and arboriculture services, ensuring all FRV sites remain safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose throughout the contract term.

• Briefing Session Details

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) will hold mandatory site briefing sessions for prospective Tenderers as outlined below. Attendance is required to be eligible to participate in this procurement process.
