NPWS FAFT Program – Fire Trails Upgrade and Renewal within Culgoa National Park

⁠⁠⁠This project is to upgrade the strategic fire trails within Culgoa National Park to the NSW Rural Fire Service Fire Trail Standards v2.0 bringing them to a "Ready to Certify" status.

Project goals

To upgrade the strategic fire trails within Culgoa National Park to the NSW RFS Fire Trail Standards V2.0 bringing them to a "Ready to Certify" status.

Scope

The scope of works will include FAFT Upgrade of strategic fire trails by clearing regrowth and vegetation, repairing trail surface, clearing and installing where required new well-functioning drainage structures, filling erosion, installing sediment traps and erosion controls, upgrading creek/drainage crossings, widening trail sections, clearing and widening for passing and turnaround bays at specified locations.
