Clarence Valley Council are seeking professional advice to investigate the suitability and feasibility of identified Council-owned land to deliver a range of housing types and mixed use developments, with priority to increase supply of affordable and diverse housing.

The project objectives include:

1. Evaluate selected council-owned land parcels to inform prioritisation for potential delivery of identified housing outcomes to address community need and promote positive socio-economic outcomes

2. Obtain expert advice on development potential and feasibility of priority sites

3. Receive recommendations on the next steps for practical delivery.

A key consideration will be investigation into potential partnership/acquisition and development with/by Community Housing Providers (CHPs) or developed by a private sector developer in partnership with Council.
