Kangaroo Island West End Fire Tracks - Civil Works

This request for tender is for a contractor to undertake civil works to establish fire access tracks in the Ravine Wilderness Area and other reserves, to allow access for bushfire suppression and mitigation operations.

Predominantly works will include:

• Construction of 11 floodway / waterway type crossings within fire access tracks
•  Track repair works to low lying and other general sections of fire access tracks
•  Installation of diversion mounds and drainage in steep sections of fire access tracks
•  Clearing and grading of fire access track footprint.

The Project Manager and Superintendent will be conducting a site visit / briefing at West End Hwy/Playford Hwy Junction, Flinders Chase at 10.00am on Tuesday, 7 October 2025. Please confirm attendance with Mike Penhall (Project Manager) by 5.00pm on Friday, 3 October 2025.
