Data Lake – Onboard Datasets

To onboard additional datasets and implement enterprise data governance within the Microsoft Fabric Data Lake and warehousing solution. The implementation of the data lake and warehousing solution is being delivered in phases. This request for tender will be focused on Phase 2 which will include the below:

Dataset Onboarding: Ingest and integrate priority operational datasets (e.g., Customer Service Requests, Work Orders, Applications, Licenses, Inspections, Infringements, Microsoft Teams data) into the existing Data Lake.

Governance & Purview Implementation: Establish enterprise-wide data governance through Microsoft Purview, including cataloging, metadata management, data classification, lineage tracking, and audit frameworks.

Data Quality & Security: Implement consistent data quality validation, access controls, and compliance frameworks across datasets.

Analytics & Reporting Enablement: Deliver analytics-ready semantic models, Gold-layer datasets, and dashboards to support operational and executive reporting.
