Tender Description
The purpose of a LGCF Security Gatehouse is to serve as a secure control point for managing and monitoring access to the port, ensuring that only authorised personnel, vehicles, and cargo enter or exit the facility, while supporting logistics coordination and emergency response
The Contractor is responsible for reviewing the existing 30% reference design of the Gatehouse, preparing concept designs that are consistent with the reference design, and further developing the design through to Issue for Construction (IFC) stage.
This includes completing the detailed design and fabrication of all structural, mechanical, electrical, fire services, hydraulic and architectural components (among others), transporting the prefabricated elements to the Lumsden Point Port site, preparing the foundation and carrying out full installation, and commissioning of the gatehouse to ensure it is fully operational and compliant with all relevant standards and specifications as listed in this document.
Online Briefing
An online briefing session will be held on 27 Oct, 2025 1:00 PM.
Mandatory Tender Briefing
i. A mandatory online Tender briefing will be organised for Monday 27 October 2025 commencing at 1:00pm WAST. The Tender briefing will be hosted as a Microsoft Teams (online) meeting.
ii. All costs incurred for the Tender briefing are to be borne by the Tenderer.
iii. Tenderers are required to register for the Tender briefing by 4:00pm WAST on Thursday 23 October 2025 via rebecca.wilkinson@pilbaraports.com.au.
iv. Once registered, the registered participants will be sent an invite to the Tender briefing containing the link to join the Microsoft Teams hosted event.
v. Tenderers are informed that any discussions held during the Tender briefing may be recorded and issued as an Addenda.
vi. Recording or the use of AI by Tenderers during the tender briefing is prohibited
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
