Civil and Landscape works - Claymore

Scope:

Civil

Stage 1 Northern Basin

• Removal of selected trees, footpaths, and existing drainage infrastructure (including pits and lines) Sewer diversion, site preparation to facilitate bulk earthworks.

• Construction of a new detention basin in accordance with approved civil design documentation.

• Revegetation of the detention basin

• Construction of new pedestrian access network.

Stage 2 Southern Car Park and Playing Fields

• Demolition and removal of existing concrete and asphalt paths and hardstand pads.

• Removal of selected trees and completion of required earthworks to reshape and prepare the site.

• Upgrade works to the existing northern carpark, including resurfacing, line marking, and associated drainage improvements.

• Construction of a new carpark and installation of pedestrian pathways to provide connectivity throughout the site and to surrounding areas.

• Upgrades to the existing playing fields including the installation of Group 1 fencing , Lighting upgrades, and spectator seating

• Construction of in stream riffles

The civil works contract will not cover the following:

• Built form including the amenities building.

• Demolition of structures on the site.

Landscape

Stage 1 – Northern Basin

• Installation of four hydration points to support landscape establishment and maintenance.

• Regeneration planting works, including:

• Riparian batter stabilisation planting
• Creek edge planting
• Application of mulch to all planted areas to retain moisture and suppress weeds

Stage 2 – Southern Car Park and Playing Fields

• General landscape planting throughout the playground and recreational zones.

• Supply and installation of outdoor furniture, including seating, picnic tables and play equipment as specified.

• Installation of fencing and access gates around the sports field in accordance with the approved design and safety requirements.

• Construction of an “everyone can play” playground

• Construction of a new pedestrian bridge.

• Revegetation of the park area with Cumberland Plain Woodland species

• Upgrades to the amenities building

Time: 10.00am

Location: 9 Preston Street Claymore (see aerial picture in Annexure to Conditions of Tendering)

A sign on sheet will be distributed on the day for suppliers to complete.

Attendance at the briefing is mandatory. Responses submitted by Respondents who fail to attend the mandatory briefing may be passed over.
