Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) invites applications for the establishment and operation of the Cairns North Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Tender.

This request for tender is an open Tender which is the final phase of the NQPHN procurement process to establish the Cairns North Medicare UCC. For the purpose of this tender, the Northern Cairns region will be considered to include both the immediate northern suburbs of suburbs of Clifton Beach, Kewarra Beach, Ellis Beach, Palm Cove, Smithfield, Trinity Beach, Trinity Park, Yorkeys Knob, Machans Beach, Barron, Redlynch, Caravonica, and Holloways Beach. This focus on the Northern Cairns region is due to the existing Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) already established in Cairns South, and the identified need to ensure service coverage for communities on the north side of Cairns.
